Farmside Kitchen: Fresh, Customizable Salads with Local Ingredients in Durham, NC

One of my favorites around the RTP Super fresh ingredients delicious food love the selection of ingredients to make your very own bowl but definitely the customer service feels amazing as soon as you walk in super friendly employees definitely will be back as often as possible.

*Dog-friendly* They didn't mind our little pups inside with us when we ordered. We ate on the patio -- kale salads with different protein and veggies, good sauces, and just overall satisfying meal for the afternoon!

Stopped into Farmside after picking my daughter up from the airport and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh food and big portions! There’s so many chains in the area and a lot of them don’t offer healthier or vegetarian options, so it’s certainly a great addition. We both did build your own farm bowls and they were great. The inside was a bit loud due to the music, but otherwise great.

Bowls are made fresh to order. I like the customizable option. Restaurant atmosphere gave nice vibes and was very clean. Outdoor seating available..perfect for a beautiful day like today. Did not enjoy feeling like I was being rushed through options as a 1st timer, but my fault for going during lunch time. My salad was absolutely delicious, though!

First timer. And I am hooked. The salad was fresh and the chocolate chip cookie was warm. I have never had delivery from a restaurant where every bite was followed by an, “Oh my gosh…so good”! I was craving a good beet salad and decided to try Farmside Kitchen. The Root Veggie Bowl satisfied the craving and more. Highly recommend and will be back for more!

I eat here at least once a week for lunch. The line can get long at lunchtime, but they move fast. Always fresh and delicious. My favorites are the Farmside and the G.O.A.T (add chicken). The price to add extra proteins is very reasonable compared to some salad bowl places.

Built my own salad; romaine and baby arugula. Cucumbers, red onion, carrots, Parmesan, goat cheese, and the signature grilled chicken. Cilantro lime dressing. The diet cola to drink. They have other options like flavored lemonades and teas. It was excellent quality and they are supplied by local farms. Very decent prices. A great business to support, can’t recommend enough.

I was looking for a place to meet for a business lunch. Saw the high Google reviews and chose this restaurant. It was busy, but the line moved so quickly. We were barely ready with our choices when it was our turn. I ordered the rancher and my business friend ordered a bowl that she created. The food was excellent, the service was quick, the strawberry rosemary lemonade was the best drink I can remember having. Highly recommend.
